The Challenge Behind this simple traveler experience was a complex operation. Reclaim needed a digital platform to manage bookings, pickup slots, location-based assignments, drivers, luggage identification, status updates and delivery across multiple locations. The challenge was to bring these activities together in one system while reducing manual coordination. Our Solution Tech Vedika designed and built Remote Luggage Check-In (RLC) platform to make this effortless travel experience possible. The platform was built around three dedicated portals, each designed for a different part of the operation: Customer Portal: Customers can register, book the luggage service, choose their location, pickup time and track their booking. Admin Portal: The Operations teams can manage bookings, assign pickups & drops based on location, monitor luggage movement, generate reports and make manual updates when required. Associate Portal: Drivers can view assigned pickups, scan the QR code on each luggage item at pickup, handover and update it's status throughout the journey. This enables accurate tracking, reduces errors and keeps customers informed about their luggage in real time. QR-based luggage identification keeps every bag traceable from pickup to drop-off, while SMS and email notifications keep customers informed of important status updates automatically. Sub-Minute Booking: An intuitive customer portal allows travelers to schedule complex multi-point pickups in under 60 seconds. For Reclaim’s Operations: Zero Blind Spots Across the Bag Lifecycle: End-to-end QR validation at every custodial handoff (pickup, vehicle, transit, handover) cut luggage handling discrepancies to near-zero. Rapid Market Scalability: The unified architecture laid a turn-key foundation to onboard new airport hubs, cruise terminals and hotel partner networks without increasing administrative headcount.
